Curriculum Intent

At Polam Hall School our Health & Social Care curriculum aims to:

Enable pupils to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to the health and social care sector.

Within this qualification our aim is, to distinguish different health and social care sector.

To differentiate professional practice and the health and social care practitioner.

To identify the human growth and development through the life stages.

Covering these areas provides a broad and sufficiently in-depth base from which our pupils can begin to make informed decisions concerning future career goals and aspirations.
