Curriculum Intent

At Polam Hall School, our Mathematics curriculum aims to:

• Enable students to develop and apply problem solving skills, encouraging a resilient and enthusiastic attitude towards challenge.
• Encourage students to develop their mathematical thinking through a curriculum that develops a deeper understanding as a result of its mastery approach.  
• Inspire an enjoyment in and appreciation of the beauty of mathematics and its appearance in everyday life as well as the impact the skills developed can have.
