Science
Curriculum Intent
At Polam Hall School, our Science curriculum aims to:
- Develop in all pupils an understanding of how Science works and how it seeks to explain the world they live in.
- Develop the problem solving skills of all our pupils and their resilience in tackling problems in everyday life after they leave education.
- Harbour in all our pupils a curiosity and passion for Science and to inspire the next generation of Scientists.
Our students can opt to take three separate GCSE Science subjects or the Combined Science course which delivers content based on all three sciences and is equivalent to two GCSEs.
