Curriculum Intent
At Polam Hall School our Religious Education Curriculum aims to:
- Enable pupils to respond to a global landscape of religious belief and diversity.
- To help our pupils make sense of religious and non-religious beliefs, to hold balanced and well-informed views about religion and belief.
- Enable pupils to make connections between religious and non-religious beliefs, concepts, practices and ideas studied.
- Develop a knowledge and acceptance of religions and worldviews.
- Encourage pupils to reflect on their own beliefs and biases and develop their ideas, values and identities.
- Foster the ability to debate with one another and respectfully hold differing opinions.
